Your Profile

You are a progressive and commercially astute part-qualified Patent Attorney with proven Electronics, Engineering or Software drafting and prosecution experience. You will have passed your UK Foundation papers, and ideally have gained a minimum of 2 years experience - private practice or in-house - and therefore looking to secure a new position that can further stretch your IP capabilities. You must be professionally competent in liaising with clients first hand, and feel confident in advising and defending complex patent portfolios.

This is a newly created appointment and will suit those Attorneys looking for a fresh challenge in an environment that breeds a healthy variety of direct client work, coupled with the genuine scope for career advancement. There is a wide variety of contentious work to include oppositions and appeals, so the quality work and service to clients is exemplary. The portfolio is expanding and with further client pitches pending, there is a real buzz of excitement in the firm about the longer term growth for this department.
