pfj & The Graduate Recruitment Company are the first to receive IIC award

pfj Recruitment – incorporating The Graduate Recruitment Company - has just become the first recruitment company to have a successful assessment in a growing number of organisations keen to attain the IIC award. pfj is a leading global specialist recruiter and achieved a 2 Star award, which puts it among the highest scores so far.

The Investor in Customers process was designed to assess and reward excellence across four key principles of customer service, namely:

·       Understanding customer needs
·       Meeting those needs through their products/services
·       Delighting customers with the service provided
·       Engaging with customers in long term relationships

pfj Director Charlotte Mullen said: ‘We are always looking to improve our service to candidates and clients and the Investor in Customers assessment fitted the bill perfectly. We already send out our own questionnaires to the people we deal with, but we wanted something that was independent and thorough. This was what appealed to us about IIC – this third party assessment against a norm; we really liked the objectiveness of it. And of course we’re absolutely delighted to have done so well. Three stars next time!’

‘pfj and The Graduate Recruitment Company attained an excellent two star award, with an overall rating of 7.49 (out of 10) in the top quartile of IIC results,’ said Charlie Williams, director of Investor in Customers.

‘The company was groundbreaking in being the first recruitment company to undertake an IIC assessment. Many businesses fear hearing the real story from their customers and staff and are hesitant to undertake an IIC assessment. First in sector companies indicate a willingness and openness to be assessed against an external standard and to solicit feedback, both good and bad. It is those first in sector businesses that demonstrate the courage to be judged and the commitment to listen to the feedback that they receive.’

The results for pfj were consistent across all four IIC principles, with particular strengths being Meeting Customer Needs and Building Customer Loyalty, he added.
