Editor of more! magazine to leave

3 July 2009 15:18

The editor of Bauer Media's weekly woman's magazine more! is stepping down from her post, according to reports.

Lisa Smosarski, who took the position at the magazine in 2006, will leave the publication within the next three months after a new candidate is found for the role.

She said: "After an incredible journey with more!, I leave in the confidence that the magazine has a truly talented team who will continue its great success."

Bauer Media said in a statement: "Lisa has played a big part in more!'s recent successes, testament to her and the rest of the team's hard work and dedication. She leaves a brand in fantastic shape and an extremely strong team in place."

Ms Smosarski worked for Emap from 1998 and has written for publications such as Smash Hits and Bliss.

Bauer Media bought Emap's consumer magazines in January 2008 and its parent company Bauer Publishing Group employs more than 6,400 employees worldwide.
