Ultralase appoints ATP for £8m account

Ultralase chose the agency ATP in 2003, but ownership changes led to the agency being cut from the company's marketing team.
The year ahead, however, will see ATP once again take control of the eye surgery company's creative, media buying and online sales responsibilities.
Managing director of ATP Ian Ruddock said in a CreativeMatch report: "We took great pride in working with Ultralase from 2003 to 2006 when we handled it the first time around - it is the leading brand in the fast growing UK laser eye sector.
"We will be using our in-depth knowledge of the business and marketplace to ensure the campaigns we produce this time around are equally successful."
The decision to hire outside professionals mirrors the importance of ensuring new professionals are recruited to any organisation in order to keep a company competitive, especially during the current economic downturn.
