Return of top trade event good news for London's Olympia

A leading trade exhibition for the beauty industry is returning to London's Olympia after six years at Excel.

The Professional Beauty event will switch to the new venue from 2011, taking place between March 6th and 7th.

Described as the UK's premier exhibition for all professionals working in the world of beauty, it first launched at the Olympia in 1983.

The move could open up some interesting conference and exhibition jobs with EC&O venues, which oversees events at the Olympia and Earls Court.

Anna Golden, commercial director for the group, said: "By moving the show to Olympia, Professional Beauty will undoubtedly benefit from our central London location, excellent transport links and unrivalled customer service."

Professional Beauty is organised by Emap Connect, which is part of Emap Limited.

Exhibitors at this year's event, which will take place at Excel next month, will include skincare brand Dermalogica and self-tanning brand Fake Bake.
