Marketing agencies sought by Comic Relief

It is understood that the organisation has been in touch with direct marketing agencies about its intention, with the first meetings expected to take place in March, campaignlive.co.uk reports.
A new strategy is likely to include mailpacks, which can be sent to schools and detail a number of activities that young people can get involved in.
Comic Relief has tried to raise its profile in recent years, with 2009's Red Nose Climb, in which nine famous faces scrambled to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, arguably its highest-profile event to date.
The campaign was established in 1985 and is limited to March's annual telethon, although in recent years Sport Relief has emerged as an additional campaign strategy.
Sport Relief recently teamed up with Manchester United to organise a fundraising event at Old Trafford on May 1st.
