True Digital receives digital marketing award

Digital marketing company True Digital has been awarded a Fresh Digital Award for the work it has done with Furniture Village, it has been reported.

The award comes after the company did much to revamp the furniture retailer's website in order to drive both paid-for and natural searches, as well as create a website which lets users feel as close to the items they are buying as possible.

Tim Beckett of True Digital said in a statement: "Furniture Village has 35 UK stores and turnover of £180 million. They wanted to take their offer online, with a site to generate sales and provide a channel where customers can browse before visiting a store.

"The online purchase experience is made seamless, simple and elegant. Online traffic is maximised by targeting consumers in-channel through natural and paid for search, e-mail, and affiliate marketing."

The result of the website is that online sales now outstrip any bricks and mortar store, proving the value of digital marketing.

With a predicted growth of 7.2 per cent in the coming year, recruitment into the digital sector will certainly become more of a focal point for many businesses.
