Workhouse adds new studio

The addition of a new studio allows the company to advance past its competitors at a time when the predicted recession in 2009 is set to hit many in the media industry.
Workhouse managing director Mark Jones said in a Drum report: "We have been in business for 17 years, but the opening of the new photography studio takes us to a new level.
"Our aim is to build a one stop shop here in the Ribble Valley, a centre of marketing excellence which can service all the marketing needs of businesses in Lancashire and beyond.
"How many other agencies have their own large photo studio on-site?" he added.
Critically for many industry watchers, the creation of the new studio also means the company can expand into internet marketing, which is predicted to grow 7.2 per cent year-on-year in 2009, even after revised forecasts.
