Multiply increases marketing staff

23 October 2008 11:10

Edinburgh marketing agency Multiply has bagged a new marketing account manager from insurance firm AEGON, drum.co.uk has reported.

Kirsteen Campbell is the new account manager for the Royal Bank of Scotland account, which is a critical role at present given the continuing economic crisis.

Ms Campbell told the website: "Having been a brand manager for a number of years I was keen to move to the other side and get involved in account management.

"I loved the whole ethos and spirit of Multiply and wanted to be part of a dynamic, innovative environment, working with great clients."

Multiply's brands include a range of businesses, from Huggies to ABSOLUT and Remy Martin, and from Kleenex to Pilnser Urquell.

The recruitment is also a good sign for the industry, which has been watched closely since the onset of the economic downturn as investment in promotional activity is often low on the list of priorities in times of economic crisis.
