The Role
This is a hugely varied role. The ideal candidate will start off as an Editor and then move sideways into the Multimedia Production role as clients request multimedia news releases. As the Operations Editor you will be subbing, proofing, re-writing copy, liaising with clients and achieving daily deadlines. You will be responsible for the timely uploading of information for your clients, ensuring all content is accurate, attributed correctly and copywriting/proofreading newsworthy copy for the wire. Your overall responsibility will change when you move into the Multimedia role where overall responsibility will be to provide the skills needed to handle the production of multimedia news releases and provide support to the operations and editorial team. Day to day responsibilities will be; building and producing multimedia news releases (MNR) adding social media links to MNR, liaising with clients to discuss and amend MNR as necessary, ensuring accuracy of clients copy, assisting with formatting or document conversion queries and much much more. The role will involve shift and weekend work with 8 hour shifts anytime between 5am to midnight. Don't miss out on this exciting new opportunity!!!
