Reporting into the Senior Designer, the Web Designer will be responsible for the production of graphic design and promotional content for the company's interactive platforms. This will involve:-
- produce graphic content for web, interactive television, mobile and future platforms
- comply with W3C best practice, usability and accessibility
- deal with production amends and short notice updates with maximum speed and accuracy
Applicants for the Interaction Designer role must have the following skills and experience:-
- Digital design experience, demonstrated in a portfolio
- Strong Mac and PC literacy
- Proficient in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver
- Experience of XHTML, CSS and ability to hand code
- Experience of working with front-end coding techniques such as JS, AJAX, JQuery
- An understanding of accessibility standards and browser compatibility
