A fantastic new position has recently become available for a 1-2-1 Summits Sponsorship Manager working in a large publishing and information company in the central of London. Working in an entrepreneurial and innovative environment with a growing team, the role requires a Sponsorship Manager to grow revenues and work with existing brands.

Based in Central London, the role includes the following responsibilities:

* Applying a disciplined sales approach to ensure full coverage of the supplier universe for each event and proactive management of each lead through the sales pipeline
* Working with Marketing to identify and prioritise key targets, develop sales and marketing materials and deliver event-associated Sponsor marketing through advertising and email campaigns
* Identifying and pre-qualifying hard leads via telephone and meeting with companies to close deals once interest has been verified
* Contract execution and client account management both pre-event and on site, following through with comprehensive evaluation once the event has taken place
* Keeping up to date with the competitor landscape and clearly defining the USPs of our proposition against competitors
* Maintaining Centaur brand integrity to ensure clients' expectations are appropriately managed throughout the sale
* Meeting sales targets monthly and by event
* Maintaining budgeted yields to maximise the profitability of each deal

Successful candidates are required to posses the following skills and attributes:

* Resilience required to work within in a high pressure b2b telesales environment and meet ongoing targets
* Proactive mindset and action focused
* Well developed time management skills to balance time on new pitches with time on call backs
* Experience using Excel spreadsheets to record pipeline and track contacts
* Ability to use questioning techniques to reveal decision maker's marketing objectives and deliver benefit-focused solutions that meet their needs
* Excellent persuasive skills to launch new event format to existing clients and future prospects
* Aptitude in managing and developing new business as well as key accounts to grow long term revenues
* Experience of delivering results on several products simultaneously
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a cross-functional events team, including delegate acquisition manager, conference producer, marketing manager and logistics team
