The Role

* The role of the Sponsorship Account Director is to lead the "live" sponsorship team, in driving and developing sponsorship.
* Responsible for a portfolio of this top media agency's accounts you will be working with the media planners, consulting them on sponsorship opportunities and driving sponsorship forwards.
* You will work strategically, identifying opportunities and selling these in to the media planners, ensuring that sponsorship is at the forefront of their minds. The sponsorship will not be media specific, it could be experiential, entertainment or a live event.
* You will plan and deliver outstanding client service for clients, delivering innovative, integrated solutions across the sponsorship spectrum.
* Deliver financial targets, growing revenue and tracking progress.
* You will be an ambassador for this media agency's Sponsorship, connecting across both internal and external networks to deliver value through building brand reputation in the industry.

Your Profile

* You are likely to have media agency or media owner experience; with a thorough understanding of comms planning and sponsorship.
* This role requires someone with real gravitas, someone that understands media and is able to credibly consult with the media planners through being conversant with media on sponsorship opportunities.
* You will be very personable and may have a track record in developing and winning new business or have a consultative approach and able to educate others.
* Commercial edge, strategic focus, great external relationship management skills
* Planning and analytical, a sound strategic thinker with emotional intelligence.
