Senior Journalist - Online Gambling
The Company
My client is the leading online and print publisher within their sector of the technology industry. As well as their daily online provisions and monthly print publication, they also have fantastic brand extension offering numerous events, conferences and award ceremonies.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a senior journalist to work on the leading publication within this sector. The Senior Journalist will work closely with the editor, taking sole responsibility for specific news and sections of the website and magazine. They will also be expected to contribute to the editorial strategy of an innovative market leading title. The successful candidate will also be responsible for representing the brand at external events such as awards, conferences and exhibitions.
The Person
As the ideal candidate for the Senior Journalist role, you will demonstrate the ability to deliver a combination of news, features and analysis. You will also be a good people manager. You will ideally have between two to five years journalism experience, a post-graduate certificate in journalism and an excellent grasp of grammar and news writing. Proven online and print writing skills, confident public speaking skills, good time management, the ability to work under pressure in a small team and to run the publication in the editor's absence are essential for this job.
