Our Client is a publishing company committed to delivering practical advice and expertise to business professionals worldwide through a range of specialist magazines and reports.
The main purpose of the role is:
-To research, identify, commission and edit reports
-Ensuring you meet the required schedules / number of commissions required and edit all appropriate works on time to the required standard
-Gain, update and use expert market knowledge to forward the growth and potential of the report range, to include our international markets which include Europe, US, Asia, Australia as well as the UK
*You will have at least 18 months' previous editorial and/or commissioning experience, ideally working with books or other longer texts, within a strong commercial environment, ideally B2B
*You will have a track record of developing new topic ideas and which have converted to good commercial revenues.
*The ideal candidate will have in-depth understanding and knowledge of key topics relating to knowledge and information management, social media, new technologies or the legal industry.
*Although the reports are produced initially in hard format and also converted to electronic copies, electronic / web based only commissioning and editing skills would be considered
