
The Role
As a Head of Sales you will be directly managing a team of 6 Business Development Managers focusing on New Business sales.
This role reports into the Sales Director and forms part of a very successful management team.
The role is based in London where the sales teams focus on selling Business Intelligence solutions into the financial services, professional services and Corporate Markets.
As a Head of Sales your key responsibilities will be to:
*recruit, manage and motivate a professional sales team to achieve individual and team targets
*Identify training needs for the team and provide individual coaching
*Plan and execute sales campaigns, ensuring leads are sourced and prepared
*Identifying markets where greater sales penetration can be achieved

reputation within the market. They are seeking a forward thinking, hands on people manager to drive and head up a team of new business sales professionals.
Your Profile
The successful candidate for this role will have the following skill set and experience:
*Proven sales management experience is essential
*Proven experience in direct sales (preferably information / subscription sales) is required
*International experience would be an advantage
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Able to assimilate information quickly and meet targets and deadlines
*Computer literacy and numeracy - able to produce reports and analysis
*Graduate calibre, with a hands on management style
