Our client is a leading publication that covers various editorial topics including trading, derivatives and fund management. As the result of growth they are looking to recruit a new financial journalist.
The Role
A varied role, the successful candidates responsibilities will include:
*Writing news stories, feature articles and blogs.
*Producing the content for their webinar series
*Expanding editorial coverage into areas related to indexing
*Assisting the European editor to research areas of interest for their publications
*Developing a network of contacts in the areas they write about
*Generating ideas for the further development of their publishing activities
Your Profile
The ideal financial journalist will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
*The ability to research complex topics and report on them in clear, concise English
*Resourcefulness and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Excellent analytical skills
*Public speaking skills
*Good financial markets knowledge
*A quantitative degree subject and additional European language skills are a plus.
