
The Role
As a field sales executive you will supporting the expansion of my clients new offices in Dusseldorf. To support this, your role will be to focus on key accounts and high potential new leads in territories covering Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Within this role you will be based in my clients Central London offices, but one week out of four you will fly out to Europe and spend a week there.
The key responsibilities within this role include:
* To secure new subscription business in sales region.
* Focus on existing client base to maximise revenue potential for example identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
* Plan and execute successful face-to-face sales trips to existing and prospective clients, promoting the range if information and services my client provides.
* Create new business opportunities by cold calling.
The Company
My client is a market-leading energy reporting service who is also part of a company who provide data services, information and marketing solutions to business professionals in the UK, US, Continental Europe and Australia.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be fluent in written and spoken German and English, and will be able to regularly travel, as at least one week every month will be spent out of the office. A good understanding of the European energy industry and its markets would be an advantage to you when being considered as a successful applicant.
Other skills required for this role are:
* A clear understanding of the sales process, and will have proven experience of uncovering and comprehending the needs of customers and establishing value.
* Professional attitude and good presentation skills
Experience of selling Online Information subscription solutions is a must.
* An ability to build strong, lasting business relationships with clients through excellent interpersonal skills.
* Good cold calling technique and a talent for creating new business opportunities.
