Business Development Manager
Exhibition Sales - International Technology Event - £27k + 30% OTE + Car Allowance + International Travel + Benefits

The Role
Dealing with international blue chip organisations in the technology sector, you will sell event and sponsorship packages for Europe's leading show. You will also represent the wider portfolio to key new business accounts including, magazines, online and awards. You will be focused, self motivated and have strong sales experience as well as account management experience. Responsibilities will include individual sales generation for 2 international events as well as handling second tier accounts, and assisting the Sales Manager with tasks such as managing the floor plan, contracts, the database, sales mailings, sales letters, bespoke proposals, sales reports, activity reports, features, and input into the strategy and content of the show.

The prospects for the role are excellent. The portfolio is well established and market leading and can only grow as the business looks to expand in to new geographic markets though cutting edge Online and Live events.

Your Profile
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced media or events sales person to develop their career in exhibition sales. You need to have come from an exhibition sales background, be confident on the phone and have the ability to present to clients face-2-face. A keen, enthusiastic and eager sales focused individual, you should have the ability to hard sell as well as perform a more consultative sell. You will need to have the ability to strike out and win new business and will need to be able to understand the clients needs and requirements.
