Our Client is a leading international business-to-business information group. This part of the business is the leading information provider for the listed derivatives market which includes a monthly print magazine, 2 dedicated websites containing on-line advertising, and a well respected conference and events business.
A vacancy has arisen for a Business Development Executive to take advantage of an established yet underdeveloped advertising and sponsorship market with proven spend in competitor products.
The Role
Business Development Executive The role entails managing existing clients and growing well established revenue streams as well as creating new ones for our print, on-line and event products. The successful candidate will have strong advertising and sponsorship sales experience, preferably in the financial markets, plus a proven track record in developing new business. The role will require an ability to quickly understand the basics of a complex financial market, and will demand a mixture of high volume phone calls to new and existing clients plus face to face sales meetings. The role will also include some international travel.
The Person
The candidate will be required to work both in a team and at times autonomously and thrive under a high pressure sales environment. The candidate must have excellent organisational skills, be motivated to succeed with new sales ideas and have an entrepreneurial approach to their work. This is a full time sales role and will only appeal to experienced sales executives who wish to be highly rewarded for their innovation and results.
