Biotechnology Patent Attorney - Qualified

Your Profile

You are a progressive newly-qualified Patent Attorney with a minimum of 4 years practical experience, gained either in private practice or industry. You should possess a first-class honours degree in either a Biotechnology/ Life Sciences or Biochemical related subject and are competent at handling a range of work. Having recently qualified, you will have attained credible exposure to direct client contact and original drafting and prosecution. Attorneys who have studied at PHD level should also be encouraged to apply for this role.

The Role

A brand new position, this role will enable the successful Patent Attorney to gain increased exposure to some truly pioneering portfolios with pivotal blue-chip clients, as well as Universities and SME companies. Training and development is very well structured in this role, so you will also benefit from a range of work from different sources to increase your skill set and experience. Initially reporting in at Partner level you will be expected to work autonomously as well as part of a thriving Biotechnology team, so your time management skills must also be particularly adept. These is also the possibility of an internal secondment with one of the firm's key clients.
