A superb opportunity has arisen for a dual qualified Patent Attorney (CPA/EPA, up to 5 years PQE) with a proven track record of direct client patent portfolio management within the Biotechnology/Life Sciences sector of IP. You will have already maintained first-class client relationships and are adept at exploiting IP opportunities to their full commercial potential. Your experience can derive from either private practice or industry, but you should have a proven track record of drafting/prosecution as well as contentious experience. Applications from Attorneys at 'Finals' level will be considered, as long as your professional exam track record has been progressive and you expect to be qualified in less than 12 months.
The Role
This is a key appointment and will suit those Attorneys who want to gain more exposure to contentious/litigious work, as well as maintaining the uppermost service to existing clients to include SMEs, Universities and blue chip corporate brands. If you have made the conscious decision to leave the relative 'comfort zone' of private practice and flex your IP talents in a more rewarding professional environment, then this position promises to reward from the outset. The successful Attorney will be rewarded with a highly competitive package (above private practice rates) coupled with the professional satisfaction you would expect from a position of this level. There is a substantial level of high quality work to maintain, so you must be self-managing as well as a team player.
