The Company
This is a role within a new dedicated specialist digital division of a large international Media/Digital network dedicated to buying, bidding and optimizing digital media to enable better consumer insights, more precise audience targeting and more effective media investment strategies This is a brand new project providing products, services and efficiency benefits to the network of agencies and clients. Ad exchange, PPC, SEO, affiliate, lead generation, and reporting teams sit together to create a perfect storm of bidding, buying and optimizing which means that they can offer their clients state of the art targeting solutions using white labelled best in market technology
Imagine bringing together the best of paid search, SEO, affiliate, ad exchange, and technology practitioners so that they sit with the media buyers and technical experts to create a team of super, multi-faceted digital buyers and optimisers. This is where you will sit and means the department is equipped with skills that enable the individual agencies in the network to access inventory for clients at any point anywhere in the world based on pre agreed ROI levels, client KPIs and success metrics.
The affiliates division is the performance marketing arm of and is tasked with strategically developing and optimising affiliate and lead generation campaigns for clients across all the groups agencies. They currently work with a range of different clients, including ING Direct, Gatwick Express, Citroen, Renault and Warner Bros.

The Role
*The Affiliate Planner role has been developed to assist Affiliate Managers expand the Affiliate offering across the group.
*The Affiliate Planner will be responsible for managing a selection of key affiliate accounts with the support of an Affiliate Executive and Affiliate Intern. The Affiliate Planner will be expected to liaise with the agencies, clients, networks, technology providers, and ensure that all parties operate efficiently and integrate with one another.
*The Affiliate Planner will work closely with the Head of Affiliates on new business opportunities.
*The Affiliate Planner will also work alongside the wider digital teams on setting collective business objectives and implementing specific affiliate strategies.
*e/she will also be required to develop direct relationships with all key affiliates on his/her affiliate programmes and identify/recruit new affiliates, joint venture partners, and key strategic partners to the Groups Affiliate network.

Your Profile
18 months + experience working in an Affiliate Network / Agency environment and be ready for the next step in your career.
Confident, professional, and positive person who regularly contributes to your clients business with thought and perception.
Something of a free thinker, you want to get more involved in the development of affiliate marketing and lead the industry from a unique position within a leading global agency.
Sociable and have the ability to get the best out of your relationships with both clients and affiliates.
Ability to confidently lead presentations and face to face meetings with clients, agencies, and affiliates in both internal and external environments
Understand role of affiliates in both on/offline marketing mix.
Understand online media channels and be able to talk confidently about differences, usage, and interaction.
