Location; Fulham/Putney
Salary; £25,000 pa + comms

The position of Advertising Sales Executive sits within the Publishing arm of the company, which targets physicians with print and online publications in six different fields of medicine globally.

Job Title; Advertising Sales Executive
Responsibilities;
*Account management of a client list across different medical fields. This involves reviewing existing business and improving relationships and sales.
*Liaising with new clients to implement products as part of their advertising strategies.
*Meeting targets set for print and online revenue well within deadlines.
*Liaising with the newspapers' editors to discuss sales strategies based on editorial content.
*Developing interest and basic knowledge of the topics covered in the publications.
*Providing the department management with progress reports including closed and potential businesses.
*Showing initiative and high organisational abilities in maintaining transparent records of progress.
*Completing all sales administrative duties: recording open and closed sales opportunities, including bookings on system, negotiating partnership deals with events organisers, organising the company's participation in medical conferences.
Your Profile;
The ideal candidate for this job will possess a track record of at least two years of high achievement and success in a media sales capacity.
Key to success in the role will be the ability to achieve a high volume of sales and develop relationship with clients. An excellent written and verbal communication is essential combined a high level of business acumen and ability to learn quickly.
Previous media sales experience in a similar environment is a clear advantage but not essential
You will be autonomous in your approach, a self starter, a consultative seller and a team player
